Thomas Ratliff

Thomas Ratliff, Republican candidate for the Texas State Board of Education, today announced the endorsement of State Representative Byron Cook, Chairman of the House Environmental Regulation Committee.

In his endorsement of Ratliff, Representative Cook said,  “Thomas Ratliff and his family have been strong advocates for public education for many years. I am confident he will represent his district with honor and integrity.  Thomas and his wife, Stacy, have been very active in their children’s education and I am glad he wants to take his parental involvement to the State Board of Education.”

Mr. Ratliff said of the endorsement, “Representative Cook has a proven track record as a fiscal conservative and a leader of the Texas House who puts politics aside in order to do what’s best for his district.  I am honored to have his support.  I look forward to working with him for the benefit of the schools in Anderson, Freestone, Limestone and Navarro Counties.”
